About The Site
After following the myus for about 3 years, I've decided to make this site. It is called Myu Corner after the common fan term "myu" (short for myujikaru, the katakana word for "musical") and the "corners" (segments) of the fankans, like the Shitsumon (Question) Corner. Don't get me wrong -- there are other SeraMyu fansites in existence, good ones. But watching the myus and omake (bonus) footage made me decide to analyze and explore the myus in my own way. I hope to put my love of trivia, DVD special features, research, web design, and Sailor Moon in general to good use to make this site interesting and informative.

Hi! My name is Reneé, alias Misty (because this site used to be under my Blogger account, where I use that alias). I am a 25-year-old Christian college student and writer who lives near San Diego, CA. I am currently majoring in Literature and Writing Studies with a writing emphasis and minoring in French, with a web design certificate on the side.
I actually thought SeraMyu was really over-the-top the first time I saw pictures of it, and so I didn't watch it. Then one day in June 2007, I was home after a bad day at work and decided to watch Chou Wakusei Death Vulcan no Fuuin, which I'd downloaded to use in a Kawabe Chieco tribute video. I liked it a lot, and from there I have seen three other myus, several clips of other myus, and several omake segments. Later, I began doing SeraMyu songdubs on my backup YouTube channel, inspired to do so by the efforts of my now friend Comet-chan. Then, late last year, I decided to make this site.
Now, the site is in its much better HTML incarnation on its own server. Meanwhile, I am working on my dream to be a published author, trying to cope with having Asperger Syndrome (an autistic spectrum disorder), and honing my web design and French skills. I'm pleased to make your acquaintance, and I hope to get to know you better in the future!
